Terms of Service

Effective date: 14 October 2026

These terms explain how you may use DD SiteGuard, how paid plans work, and what to expect from website audits and reports.

Draft for legal review — not legal advice.

This page is an informational template and has not been reviewed by a solicitor. Please have a qualified solicitor review it before relying on it as a complete statement of your legal terms. Your statutory rights are not affected.

1. Who we are and these terms

DD SiteGuard is a service offered by DD Network, a brand of Bascora Ltd (“DD Network”, “we”, “us” or “our”). You can contact us at support@ddnetwork.co.uk.

These Terms of Service apply when you visit or use DD SiteGuard. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use DD SiteGuard for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. What DD SiteGuard does

DD SiteGuard runs automated website audits and provides findings, affected URLs, comparisons, and recommendations according to the plan you select. Agency features may include client-ready reports. The exact features and limits are those shown at checkout and in your account.

An audit is a point-in-time, automated check. Its results depend on the pages and responses available to the crawler, your site configuration, third-party services, and your plan limits. An audit may not discover every issue or represent every visitor’s experience.

Reports and recommendations are provided for general information. They are not legal, security, accessibility, marketing, or search-ranking advice, and do not guarantee a particular result or that your website complies with any law, platform rule, or search engine requirement. You are responsible for reviewing findings and deciding what changes to make.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

You may submit a website for auditing only if you own it or have permission to test and crawl it. You must not use DD SiteGuard to break the law, interfere with another person’s website, bypass access controls, overload a service, or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer DD SiteGuard.

Any Shopify crawler access details you provide must be for a store you own or are authorised to manage. They are used only to support crawling of the relevant public store pages; they do not grant access to private store data. You are responsible for ensuring you may provide those details and for replacing them when they expire or are revoked.

4. Plans, limits, and payment

Plans are available with monthly or yearly billing in GBP. The current configured prices and allowances are summarised below; the price and renewal interval you choose at checkout apply to your subscription.

Plan Monthly price Yearly price Sites Scans Pages per audit Active scans History Plan features
Starter £9.99 / month £95 / year 1 10 / month 250 1 30 days Standard audit reports
Professional £19.99 / month £195 / year Up to 3 30 / month 1,000 2 90 days Issue tracking and comparisons; weekly or monthly monitoring
Agency £39.99 / month £395 / year Unlimited 100 / month 2,500 3 Unlimited Issue tracking and comparisons; weekly or monthly monitoring · Branded client reports, client-specific history, and revocable 30-day share links

Audits also have per-scan page limits and concurrency limits. Limits are enforced by the service and may be updated for future billing periods; we will show material plan changes before they apply to an existing subscription where required by law.

Monthly subscriptions renew monthly and yearly subscriptions renew annually until cancelled. Payments and subscription administration are handled by Stripe. You authorise the applicable recurring charge while your subscription remains active. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Each scan uses one allowance when crawling starts. A queued scan is shown separately until it starts. If a SiteGuard job fails after its retries, its scan credit is returned; website-side errors or blocks are reported as scan results and do not return a credit. Weekly or monthly monitoring runs use the same monthly scan allowance.

Google Search Console may be connected with read-only access to provide available search-performance context beside findings. That data does not change technical severity or audit scores. Shopify Web Bot Auth signatures are optional crawler credentials for a specific public store domain when its access rules require them; they are not Shopify Admin credentials.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account’s Billing page: choose Manage billing to open Stripe’s billing portal and cancel the subscription. You may also contact support@ddnetwork.co.uk. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid monthly or yearly period. You can continue using paid features until that period ends, and there will be no renewal charge after cancellation.

Refunds

This draft reflects the current operational position: refunds are generally not offered once digital service access has started or been provisioned, while duplicate billing and verified extended outages may be considered as exceptions. The application of any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal rights when immediate digital access, a scan, or monitoring begins has not been confirmed by a solicitor. This draft does not assert that starting a scan removes a statutory right.

Nothing in this policy removes or limits a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support@ddnetwork.co.uk about a refund request; any refund required by law will be handled as required by law. Scan-credit returns for SiteGuard job failures are separate from monetary refunds.

6. Your content and our service

You retain your rights to the websites, URLs, and other material you submit. You give us permission to access and process the submitted URLs and the responses returned by those sites only as needed to run audits, produce and display reports, maintain the service, and provide support.

DD Network owns DD SiteGuard and its software, design, and branding. Subject to these terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service and your reports for your own business purposes. Agency customers may use client-ready reports for their client work.

Audit history is retained according to your plan. If you delete a report, we may keep a minimal anonymised usage record where needed to administer scan allowances and billing.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep DD SiteGuard available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, technical faults, or issues with third-party services and websites. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we do not promise uninterrupted availability or a service-level guarantee.

We may change or discontinue features. If a material change affects a paid plan, we will give notice where required by law. We may also update these terms; the revised version will appear here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice where required. You may cancel before a material change takes effect if you do not agree to it.

8. Suspension and ending access

You may stop using DD SiteGuard and cancel your subscription as described above. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms, use the service unlawfully, fail to pay amounts due, or create a security or operational risk. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue first.

When access ends, your right to use paid features ends. Any data or reports remaining in your account will be handled according to the plan’s retention period and applicable law.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, DD SiteGuard is provided on an “as available” basis. Automated results can be incomplete or inaccurate, and you should independently check important findings before acting on them.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any non-excludable consumer rights.

Subject to the paragraph above, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service or these terms is limited to the fees you paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim in another court.
